At SERVPRO of Salem West we encounter many jobs that are difficult. Some of the most sensitive in nature are our trauma & crime scene cleanup jobs. Our trauma jobs usually involve Blood-borne pathogens or bodily fluids. These scenes can often include cleaning up after Crimes, Violence, Domestic Disputes, Accidental Injuries, or Suicides.

No one likes to talk about subjects like this…

Yet they happen within our community, and cleaning up after such an event is a much needed service. So much so, that SERVPRO has multiple Project Mangers IICRC-certified to perform and supervise the cleaning of such jobs.

These are the jobs that we can’t make it "Like it never even happened.”

What we can do, is take the burden and responsibility of cleaning up after such a happening, off of the property owner, business owner, or family, who has most likely already been through a great deal of trauma and stress. We can help them put their space back together.

Cleaning up blood or bodily fluids is a job that requires professionalism, focus, and emotional strength.

That is why we at SERVPRO of Salem West never make it mandatory that our technicians respond to such a loss if they choose not to. We have a wonderful Bio-Hazard crew that knows what a delicate and important job the cleanup of a blood-borne pathogen is. They take that job as an act of service and as something that they can be proud of, because it is a true service to people.
