Broken Window Board-Up Salem Center Mall - Salem, OR

Salem Center Mall had a broken skybridge window. When mall management was notified about the broken glass, they took immediate action to have it temporarily secured with a board-up process. The skybridge crosses over Liberty St. in Salem, Oregon. One of the busiest streets in town. SERVPRO of Salem West was notified and was able to dispatch a team member for assessment and preliminary planning. After the onsite assessment was completed and site photos transmitted electronically, we devised a plan to secure the opening. Once the opening was secured we also installed plastic sheathing on the inside along with caution tape to inform mall visitors of the condition. 

The Salem Center Mall took advantage of the Emergency Readiness Profile that outlines action steps in case of facility issues. This plan came in handy as the personnel knew what action to take.
